There are times when you can help “make a difference” through technology and innovation, and there are times when you just need to roll up your sleeves.

When it comes to the latter, Eliza employees have been donating their time and energy to a variety of charitable causes – from outfitting orphanages to serving dinner at homeless shelters to donating school supplies to low-income children to participating in feline rescue.

Decidedly unglamorous tasks at the Merrimack River Feline Rescue locations included deep cleaning the cages and crates, scrubbing the rooms, and prepping and painting the area so the new kitties will have a safe, clean, and homey place to begin their new lives.

These may seem like small gestures, but they keep us authentic and grounded. And whether it’s by serving wholesome meals or finding a furry companion for someone feeling lonesome, we’ve found that on some level, doing for others has the potential to truly improve health and well-being.

That’s something we can all get behind.
